Title: Looks like a WD 5 but has a wet tub
Post by: WDG on November 04, 2016, 01:00:48 pm
I went to an auction preview today to specifically look at what I thought was a WD5.  It appeared exactly like mine.  But much to my surprise when I open the lid I found the tub to be a wet machine.  The cover on the back over the compressor is missing as is the cover that goes over the lines going up to the top in back.
I think this will get you to the site.  There is also and upright can vendo that I'm not interested but would like any info about this machine I can get especially what it might be worth with some of it missing and noway to plug it in.

I remember the wet machine but haven't seen one since the early 60's.  Not sure if I want it or not but would like to have it.  Any comments appreciated.

It appears to be a Cavalier 3 case Junior.
Westinghouse did not emboss the "Ice Cold" letters on the bottom front.

WDG,
Are you local to the Sylvester area...?
I just bought a couple of items from another auction last week and will be picking them up the end of next week...
