Title: CL ad - Was there ever a "countertop version" VMC 27? Post by: cormy on October 26, 2016, 11:11:24 am There is a guy constantly posting his VMC 27 without a stand or anything. The ad states.." This was one of the early vendolators which were tabletop machines and did not come with stands". Just wondering if this is true.

I've seen at least one sitting on a counter in an old picture. Title: Re: CL ad - Was there ever a "countertop version" VMC 27? Post by: mygoose101 on October 26, 2016, 03:53:25 pm Yes, it is a counter top version with options for 1 of 3 stands. The nicest is the pipestand, also the enclosed stand which makes the machine look like it's one piece, and then the tough to find Kay stand.

Post by: coke_and_stuff on October 26, 2016, 09:44:53 pm I've got one right now that originally came out of TX it has never been on a stand and was always used on a counter. The guy I got it from has owned it for over 40 years and remembers it from the old country store that his family shopped at.
