Working on kinda the same approach with a VMC Generic 110 main door. How did you brace the door frame to take the weight? I'm thinking need a steel plate door frame for mine. I will be also hanging a shallow pantry behind the Coke door. Then access to the Shipwreck Lounge in the basement. Many thanks for any tips!!
