Title: Re: Old popcorn machine Post by: Eric on May 09, 2016, 10:07:39 pm Couldn't find any info just this pic.. it looks to go way back.. very cool.. think it has a little peanut roaster that turns on top also...
Title: Re: Old popcorn machine Post by: Ross on May 09, 2016, 10:22:36 pm I think this might be a Cretor's popcorn machine and peanut roaster from around 1920. The cylinder part on top would be the peanut roaster. The display area under where the popcorn was popped would be where the roasted peanuts are displayed. They came with either an electric motor to agitate (stir) the corn or a steam engine. This one appears to have an electric motor. The ones with the steam engine are more valuable as the steam engine itself is collectible.
Title: Re: Old popcorn machine Post by: SIGNGUY on May 10, 2016, 08:07:53 am I'd think it would be worth picking up for under $300 just for the cool factor.. there are guys out there looking for parts and such or possible whole machine..
