Title: Door seal
Post by: on March 29, 2005, 11:48:56 pm
After Bob K's kind gift of a door and Steve with funtronics door hinges I finally have the glass door in place on my Vendo 90.  Question is :  should light permeate from around the seals? If this does how can i fix it?  I will post pictures after I install the software on my computer.  ( the Vendo was more important!  Justin

Glad I could help, Justin.  I received your mail, by the way.  Thanks.

No you shouldn't have light coming around the door seal, this will also cause your machine to leak out cool air. I would replace the seal gaskets. The inner and outer seals run about 40.00 for the pair. terry

Looks great.  I not trying to be a critic, but I think that machine would look a thousand times better with the earlier original light-up signage.

Do you mean a red lettered Coke sign or a 3-D StyleStar sign?
I would like to get a StyleStar one for my V63!  I think they look pretty cool :p

That is the original signage as far as I know, like I have said earlier that this machine has been in the family since it was new.  I got is 5 years ago.  Justin
