Title: WC 44-SK
Post by: vintage-air on March 31, 2016, 06:58:52 pm
Guys, have a chance to buy a Westinghouse 44-SK machine that is complete and in working order. Is the coin mech. in these machines the same as the vendo's? i believe it's a change giver but not for sure...

I believe in the Westinghouse mechanisms the shaft will need to be modified.

I think it's also missing the piece that activates the sold out flag...but most people won't know the difference and it looks the same other than that. And I think Jared is correct...you will have to cut a piece of the back rod off and drill a new hole.

Ok thanks. I'm parting out this machine so if anyone wants parts, let me know.

True on the coin mech shaft

That's a REALLY nice machine sad to see it parted out as it's clean

I agree, is it missing something important so it won't work?

nope...it's a clean complete machine....i'd take 500 for the whole machine but parting it out may be a better option. Tried selling it online with no takers. I know the coin mech is $250-$400 and other parts like the cooling system is complete and working. it cools nicely. Just need to get rid of it.

Do you still have it and in what part of IN do you live?
