Title: Coca Cola Channel Cards Post by: Slapshot42 on March 15, 2016, 12:42:00 pm I have been collecting these particular signs for the last 5 years. I never knew how many three were so I reached out to Ted Ryan the Lead Coca Cola Archivist. With my publication numbers on each print he was able to search the fountain brochures and provide me all of the prints that were made.
Now back to hunting the final (7). :darn: Title: Re: Coca Cola Channel Cards Post by: SodaShopNick on March 15, 2016, 12:50:57 pm Very cool and great that you now will know when you complete the collection. I have seen these on eBay every now and then in their original wire frames or this one in a wooden frame: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/120340-1960s-coca-cola-resturaunt-sign

Title: Re: Coca Cola Channel Cards Post by: ajf5577 on March 15, 2016, 07:32:37 pm Liverwurst and Coke.... One of my favorites! :drinking:
That is a nice collection. I hope you can find them all. I like the variety that they advertised at the lunch counters in the 40's and 50's. Another one of my favorites is Salmon Croquettes. That's just what I think of when I see a Coke. Title: Re: Coca Cola Channel Cards Post by: sc1101 on March 15, 2016, 08:40:38 pm I like to see collections of a different sort. Very Nice! The question is what are the 7 you are missing? That way if we see them we can help.

Salmon Croquettes are one of the best foods out there. Hard to find at any resturant. Took several trys but can make a passable rendation these days. Think crap cake with 4 times the flavor. Title: Re: Coca Cola Channel Cards Post by: SIGNGUY on July 15, 2016, 08:38:22 am I knew someone one here collected these, but could not remember who...
at the Chicago show last Spring inside there was a guy with a stack of these.. not sure what ones he had, but looked like a lot ... of course I didn't get his info , and have no idea but usually they bring stuff back if not sold , so I'll have to keep your list handy and see if I see him again this fall.. Jarod, PM me and let me know exactly what your looking for , price range and condition concerns... I'm pretty sure I'll be attending again this Fall.
