Attached diagram identifies them - can someone interpret and tell me where to connect these wires? Thanks Greg Title: Re: Vendo 63 wiring Post by: johnieG on December 16, 2015, 06:38:51 am Wiring connections 5a & 6a are part of the cabinet harness plug, not the "Jones" plug ( which is for the coinmech.)
They connect through cabinet harnesses male plug (from the carrier switch) to the mating female socket of the door harness, and it allows a "ready to vend" signal to go to the coinmech to pull in the CREM relay(s) which allow the coinmech to accept coins. they terminate on the "common" [C] and "normally closed" [NC] contacts of the carrier switch down by the vending solenoid. If you dont have a switch, you can temporarily connect the two wires together ( and insulate )to enable the coinmech to accept coins fun fact, these wires have 120 volts on them, so be careful when connecting them to the ( missing) switch or together, unplug the machine first.
