Title: Choice Vend 280 - Parts? Post by: ajf5577 on November 29, 2015, 01:40:38 pm I picked up this CVC 280 some time ago. I just plugged it in and the fan runs fine, but it sounds like the compressor may be stuck? It tries to cycle and Bogs down, then releases.
I see these a lot so it's probably not worth anything as a vendor, and it weighs a ton. If I scrap it, besides the front top logo sign and the coin mech, what else may be worth saving? Title: Re: Choice Vend 280 - Parts? Post by: MoonDawg on November 29, 2015, 05:08:30 pm Fan motors and thermostat.

I had the same thought so the sign is was coming off. The coin mech is worth something as well. I haven't checked to see if it's a .75 mech or higher.So fan motors and the thermostat it is. I may see if the helix motors come off easily. They could be the same for choice vends back to the 50's. |
