Title: Coca-Cola vertical six case and Popcorn Machine
Post by: Funtronics on November 02, 2015, 10:09:44 am
Here are a couple of machines that I just finished. The Coca-Cola vertical six case cooler was a decent original when I started but once I tore into it I was glad I decided to restore it. The compressor was in really bad shape and once the insulation was removed I found a lot of rust.  The popcorn machine was an original Pop Sez popcorn machine that was in dier need of a restoration. Both really look good together.

That Popcorn machine looks great. Did you have to work on the top Bubble or was it in good enough shape?

The paint code is top secret. Just ask Pat pixley.
The story to the paint code is that I really don't know. I gave my painter a code that was suppose to be off white. When I went to pick it up this is the color it was. I asked my painter if he considered that to be off white. He just grinned and said I'm sorry. Well Pat Pixley was there when I picked it up and said he thought it looked OK. So instead of making my painter repaint it I took it home and put everything back together and low and behold the yellow did look a lot better than the off white. So I'm not sure of the color code. My painter has it.
