Title: Chrome Plating Post by: JerryG on October 05, 2015, 06:43:46 pm I am looking at getting a coin entry bezel done. Has anyone used Speed and Sport in Houston lately? I hear they are pricey but have good quality. Reviews on the board are somewhat dated.
Thanks, Jerry Title: Re: Chrome Plating Post by: coke_and_stuff on October 05, 2015, 08:36:24 pm One of the best in the business, they specialize in pot metal restoration and do amazing work. They can fix damaged bezels as well.

What do they charge for the average size bezel like a Vendo 81? Title: Re: Chrome Plating Post by: Slider-Bob on October 06, 2015, 02:16:25 pm A member here had the vmc bezel, and the coin return piece that slides up and down on the bezel replated by them for $300 shipped.
I know...you guys/gals will say too much $$$$, but great work and 2 week turnaround counts for something. Title: Re: Chrome Plating Post by: JerryG on October 06, 2015, 02:40:02 pm I appreciate everyone's response. Sounds like they do excellent work and are worth the money.

You may want to check with Glen and see who he is using. It sounds way to cheap to me. Title: Re: Chrome Plating Post by: cokecolaman on October 06, 2015, 05:56:38 pm I just got my bezel and bent coin thing done for $55...they do a very good job...I wouldn't call it great, but it's pretty nice and you can't beat the price.

Well worth the money. If you want bigger photos PM me with your cell or email address and I will send them to you.

Title: Re: Chrome Plating Post by: JerryG on November 15, 2015, 10:20:31 am 275 plus shipping. The coin entry was bent initially and he fixed it too. Pot metal is tricky.
Title: Re: Chrome Plating Post by: Creighton on November 16, 2015, 02:20:38 am Have never seen a negitive review for Speed and Sport on the boards I'am on. Glad there were no issues with a hard to replace bezel.
