Title: My unusual project almost finished
Post by: sc1101 on June 28, 2015, 07:38:49 pm
This all started at the Fall Chicago show when Sliderbobs buddy Kent showed me a picture of a bank vault door he had. I thought it would be cool if I could find a complete one. Well three months later I happened to search EBay for vault doors and one popped up. I looked at the ad and it happened to be in my home town. I found this to be way to much of a "meant to be moment". Sometimes I swear these things find me. I went down to check it out and fell in love with both the door and safe that was inside. So I decided to buy it and rip apart my newly finished bathroom to accommodate it all. So below is a link of the journey. Oh ya and when its done you wont be able to see into the bathroom.

That's really cool! Reminds me of a movie theater in downtown Lincoln Nebraska that in the arcade they have a huge round vault door as the entrance to the arcade. I forget the history of the vault door but I think it was in a bank that was on the spot that the theater is now or something like that. Really cool

Very cool. I would just go with frosted glass through the middle section.
