Title: Generic 88 Post by: BONOVOX on June 24, 2015, 12:42:56 pm Wondering what any of you think is a fair price on a generic VMC 88 machine that's missing the bottle stack.
I was 100% sure that it was a generic based on the sellers answers to my questions.... but now I'm doubtful as the seller does not want to remove a plastic sign where the Pepsi, Coke or dare I say it, 7up embossing would be, until she has cash in hand. BUT she says that she can see behind the sign (don't know how she can :glare:) and there are no embossed letters of any kind. I educated her on the 4 different 88's that are out there, as well as single vend machines vs multi.... so I have a feeling that telling her the Pepsi embossed is the most common,.. she actually did take the sign off, and saw the Pepsi..... I can guarantee that with her new knowledge on the 88's... if it were Coke or a 7up she would have negotiated with me based on that.
