Title: Re: Pinfest Allentown, PA Post by: Kilroy on May 01, 2015, 06:10:55 am Kids.. Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. 1976 Bally.
Title: Re: Pinfest Allentown, PA Post by: Larry on May 01, 2015, 06:28:41 am I have a CC Jukebox pinball that I like. It was the last of the E.M.'s in 1976. I had a Bally Fleet from 1936. That was one of the first games with a solenoid to propell the ball back up the playfield. Flippless and surprisingly fun. As far as modern styles, I like Family Guy or Shrek, same playfield, different props.
What I would like to own at a reasonable price, would be a Rockola World Series, a Mills Cannon Fire, Gottlieb Amazing Siderman, Sterns Simpsons Party Pinball or Family Guy. I would have to sell everything to make room for the new collection, but I'd rather have a variety of different games instead of just pinball. Title: Re: Pinfest Allentown, PA Post by: Jared on May 01, 2015, 07:23:49 am I remember playing captain fantastic and evel kneivel back in the late 70 s.cool machines
Title: Re: Pinfest Allentown, PA Post by: Kilroy on May 01, 2015, 09:45:59 am Larry, RayG is building a virtual pinball table. One table, as many games as you want. I prefer the real thing, but I know all about space limitation.
Title: Re: Pinfest Allentown, PA Post by: Larry on May 01, 2015, 12:37:49 pm That's intesting, but there's nothing like the real deal.

Title: Re: Pinfest Allentown, PA Post by: tkaz on May 02, 2015, 09:25:07 pm I like the Addams family pin as well, brings back good memories. There was one in our town hockey rink right next to the locker rooms, I always used to play after games.
Title: Re: Pinfest Allentown, PA Post by: mznb1u on May 04, 2015, 07:56:32 am Back in the mid 70's when I had my Detroit News paper route, I put enough money in a Bally Wizard machine to own the damn thing. I played a lot of pinball through college and that is still my favorite machine to this day. I have seen some nice ones out there and have been close to pulling the trigger on one. The only thing that stops me is that if I show up at home with one of those, I may end up deaf, dumb and blind by the time my wife is done with me! 8)
