Title: Canadian V56 embossed transitional Post by: MoonDawg on March 07, 2015, 06:33:33 pm I have never seen this combination of parts during the transition era before, but I think it looks nice.
I'm guessing this was built as an electric machine at the plant, as there was no provision for the linkage to the bottle stack. Could this be unique to the Canadian market, or have these surfaced elsewhere? http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/clt/4900968170.html (http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/clt/4900968170.html) Title: Re: Canadian 56 embossed transitional Post by: BONOVOX on March 07, 2015, 08:26:27 pm I just think someone had a 56 with a missing door, and slapped on a transitional door to complete it. The door is a Vendorlator door, the rest is a Vendo.
Someone not in the know of these machines would buy it, and will never know it's not original. Title: Re: Canadian 56 embossed transitional Post by: mygoose101 on March 07, 2015, 08:36:12 pm The inside door liner looks smooth also, not grooved for a linkage bar.

Times were good a few years back when our dollar was better than the US buck... now at 20% it's tougher to buy and flip.... still doable though! Title: Re: Canadian 56 embossed transitional Post by: Creighton on March 07, 2015, 11:33:27 pm Yep, Not near as many Canadian plated RV's slogging forth on the highways these days. Everyone is welcome but please don't be poking at your cell phone going 50 in a 70 mph zone.
Thanks! Creighton Title: Re: Canadian 56 embossed transitional Post by: Kilroy on March 08, 2015, 08:57:45 am "Everyone is welcome but please don't be poking at your cell phone going 80 in a 112 kph zone."
