Title: Westinghouse 44 on ebay
Post by: loman4ec on March 12, 2005, 08:57:11 am
I am just wondering if anyone here had planned on bidding on the Westinghouse 44 on ebay. I was seriously thinking about buying it but I wanted to check with all of you first. The last thing that I want to do is steal a machine from one of you. I like the poor 44's and would like to have one. that one doesn't look too bad.

Hey Josh - I've been watching this machine. I'm interested but I'm not staking any claim on it... Here's the thread.  It's <relatively> local for me (Tucson, AZ) and this is the second listing. This first auction started @ $500.  When it didn't sell I offered the guy $200.  He's selling it on consignment and the seller wanted to relist.  I'm not going to buy it for $250 as I think there's still a chance that I can get it for less.  If it's worth $250 (or more) plus the S&H to you, then you should bid on it.

I am going to pass on it. He refuses to pallet the machine. SO the only option for shipping that I have is a van line and I am not going to pay that for it. If you want it, it is yours. If it  were closer to me that would be great.

FYI - looks like the seller found a buyer.  Someone in Texas has bid $250 for the machine.  Too bad, I was hoping to get this big guy for cheap.:(

Hey Josh, if you ever need a freight option, I've got an account you can use at Fedexfreight, they ship terminal to terminal in major citys across the USA, I get a 50% discount I can get you too....just an idea...  :;):
