O.k., I might as well start off this wonderful new discussion area with the first actual request...
I am looking for a bunch of old embossed glass 10 oz. returnable Coca-Cola bottles. I have bought many of the non-embossed 10 oz. non-returnables, but I want the ones with the raised lettering. I almost never see them on eBay. I see lots of the 6 1/2 oz ones, but not the larger 10 oz. size.
Anyone have any?

Binks beverages in Escanaba Michigan still produces in the 10 oz returnables. As of last year you could still go in and buy by the case. I heard a rumor they were going to start going the way of Dublin Drpepper and only refill what you have but I do not know for sure, it's worth a try.binksbeverages

Call quick. Somebody told they are stopping refilling this month. As of the 11th to be exact. So, It might be possible to pick them up real cheap.

I just called Binks Beverages right now and though they have the 10 oz. bottles with the PAINTED lettering, unfortunately they don't have any with the raised embossed lettering.
Also sadly, they said that they won't even be refilling people's bottles, so yep they won't be doing any. Another fine returnable bottler bites the dust.

There is a salvage guy not far from me that has around
2000 assorted bottles, I'll see what he has.

Again, I am only interested in the 10 oz. returnable EMBOSSED (raised glass lettering) glass Coca-Cola bottles. Prefferably in the wood cases if at all possible. Thanks so much,

i'm not having any luck at the moment finding the bottles you described, but I have only been through about 1/4 of his collection.
He really needs to get a better system for the way he has things stored. Getting too old to be climbing over things.
I have competition too. There is a guy that makes a weekly trip out there to get pepsi bottles to sell on ebay.
I will keep at it. I'll let you know what I find.

The other guy can have ALL of the Pepsi bottles, I only want the embossed 10 oz. Coke ones.

OK so I have been getting ready to have a garage sale and I found 2 10 oz Coke bottle in the box of stuff to sell. They are both contoured and embossed. I don’t know what they are worth so make me an offer if you want them.
