Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: mygoose101 on February 12, 2015, 09:58:56 pm What we would pay and what it's worth are 2 different figures..
We would pay $2,500, worth $4,500. Either way, nice machine. Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: Ezra on February 12, 2015, 10:06:18 pm Started 7000. Now he is at 6300. I thought 5000 tops. He needs more time and reality.
Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: mygoose101 on February 12, 2015, 10:07:48 pm It's a little high. I would agree with you. $5,000 tops.
Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: Jonathan816 on February 12, 2015, 10:20:44 pm Definitely a nice machine, a lil unrealistic on price. Let him post it than not sell it, only a very limited amount of people would pay 5k for the machine. A restorer wouldn't touch it for 5k as they'd prefer a rougher machine in my opinion.
Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: Ltransam on February 12, 2015, 10:25:24 pm I'm thinking this machine has been out there quite awhile . I know iv seen it before :upside: Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: Slapshot42 on February 12, 2015, 10:49:08 pm I would run away from that seller wasted a fair amount of my time on several machines I've had for sale!

Needs to be restored but a perfect machine to restore. If I don't get 4K for it then I will just keep it and restore it myself and then it will be a lifetime keeper  Either way, win-win.

me (a restorer) wouldn't pay 4500 for it. .its too nice to restore and would be stupid to do so. for a collector who wants all really nice clean original machines.. then 4500 -5k is not out of line.. Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: GreenMo on February 13, 2015, 07:50:07 pm Depends: If I'm buying then $2500 If I'm selling then $4000  Title: Re: Value on Pepsi 81 Post by: Slapshot42 on February 13, 2015, 08:23:41 pm In the last few years two or three have been on eBay. When they sell in that condition there are usually like 40 bids. They have sold in he 3500-3800 plus shipping...
They have gained a lot of popularity..they always seem like a war to get in the Craigslist market!
