Title: Ideal / Glasco 55 Sliders Post by: sodahunter on January 19, 2015, 09:44:23 am I come across Ideal and Glasco 55 sliders on a regular basis. Most are in the 3-500 range for complete machines that chill. I typically pass on them as I'm not a big slider guy. Are complete 55's worth picking up in the 3-500 range and are there buyers out there who will pay 500+ for a decent cooler? Thanks for any insight.

Yes, they are worth $300-500 if complete. If you can't resell them complete for $700-800, then part them out. Coin mechs sell for $250, racks/flappers for $250, cap catchers $75. Got your money back right there, then sell the slider as a cooler for $200-300. Title: Re: Ideal / Glasco 55 Sliders Post by: sodahunter on January 19, 2015, 10:32:59 am No...don't buy them! I've wanted a slider since my Navy days, we had one in the ready room and I thought it was the coolest pop machine ever. No it is not worthwhile to ship these sliders to you, but find a local working shell and the missing parts can be shipped to you. I want one!

Maybe there is some wiggle room though now you have me thinking! Title: Re: Ideal / Glasco 55 Sliders Post by: mygoose101 on January 21, 2015, 02:59:04 am That link wasn't for you Jarod, it was for sodahunter.
