Title: Finally got the VMC 81 - Pepsi I been wanting Post by: Jonathan816 on January 18, 2015, 03:20:17 pm Picked this up yesterday, only took me 15 hours round trip. Friends say I'm crazy, but I believe I got a nice original. Started to detail it, however got to get some goof off as there is old tape and other sticky residue on it. The bezel is very nice for an original. Plugged it in, unfortunately it doesn't cool..that's what I figured after I saw a service tap.
Any recommendations as to where to send it would be greatly appreciated. UPDATE: Replaced thermostat - works fantastic. It was a clean original machine complete and cooling. Thought it was an O.K. deal. Didn't have to pay e-bay or paypal fees which was even better.
