Title: Nehi Bottling Plant makeover
Post by: SodaShopNick on December 27, 2014, 10:28:53 pm
Back in July there was a discussion about Coca Cola going back and restoring some of it's original murals (http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php/topic,19531.0.html).  In that same thought we have in Raleigh a local investor (son of the founder of SAS) that has restored an old Nehi Bottling plant.  This plant is very near the NC State campus and has been unoccupied and unidentifiable as long as I have been here (24 years).   Then several months ago I drove past it (I don't usually go near it that often) I noticed it had been completely restored and it was then I even realized it was a bottling plant in it's past.  I drove past it yesterday and took some pictures.  In addition below are some links about the history and restoral:

That's awesome! I wish more like this would be brought back instead of running a dozen through them. Thanks for sharing!
