I won the auction on this coke fountain sign item 171556575108 but it never shipped. He said there was a mix up on some items. He gave me a refund plus a hundred dollars. I was very dissapointed i didn't get the sign. He said he would let me know if the sign is found.

Was told the sign might have been shipped to someone else by mistake. Hoping someone might know something about it.

Not a bad thought hope its found!   With increased demand for postal it may have been sorted incorrectly.  I had a package show up 13 days after its expected arrival date...

Your item number is only 10 digits, e-bay uses 12.

I guess its one of two things. Either the item didn't sell for what the seller wanted it to and he has fobbed you off.

Or, he genuinely did ship the item and it has been lost. If its the second then he's lost the sale, the sign and has given you an extra $100.00. Can't ask for much more than that.

That guy is listing 300 large signs at a time with no reserve. My guess is he wouldn't let it go for that amount.

I don't know that seller but I've heard only good things about him.  Instead of assuming the worst my first thought would be that with the amount of items he sold at one time there was just an honest mistake made.

I would file a claim through Ebay / Postal.  Your transaction should be protected for situations like this...

Can't see how you can file a claim for an item that has been lost. how is he going to make good? He's already made a goodwill payment of $100.00

I know the seller of this sign, his name is Chris, he doesn't play games if it is listed for 99 cents and sells for $20.00 he lets it go even though he paid $600 for it. He does not shill bid any of his auctions. If it got lost on the mail and he hasn't already refunded you your money he will. If you need his cell number let me know

I got a text from Chris yesterday and still no sign. I have no complaint with him about the money, he did the right thing and returned my money plus a hundred dollars, but how could a nice sign just disapear? It was never shipped to me. i never even got a tracking number. Its got to be somewhere.

I'll take your word for it, but there's so many shenanigans on ebay unless I know the person I assume the game is on. I mean, how long does it take you to find a fake "original" sign on ebay? every category?! Its a buyer beware market.

i'm still not sure about the claim. Randy was refunded his purchase price plus $100. if it was lost (we don't know and probably never will) the guy has stood up and done more than the decent thing by giving $100 of his own money, as well as losing the sale and the sign. where's the claim???

There can be no claim, you just get your money back like he did. That's why there's so many games on ebay.

The sign was found and Chris shipped it to me. I got it this morning. It looks great, just as described.
