At one of my local shows selling lamps a few weeks ago a guy showed up asking if I'd be interested in restoring his vintage fan, but his real dream was to send it off to Rick instead. Just about drove me crazy, I ended up giving him a couple of names of folks on the forum after trying to explain that stuff wasn't always as it seems on TV.

I must agree with Tom. I have an 81 in my shop for restoration right now. Customer inquired to Rick's about restoring it. They told him 6 to 12 months and $10,000.
