Title: Coke memorabilia auction in Buckholts Texas
Post by: Ben on December 06, 2014, 07:57:37 pm
A lot of coke memorabilia at auction in Buckholts Texas this weekend.  I didn't come away with any of the big ticket items, but prices seemed to be typical of auctions in Central Texas lately.  Cavalier 72 $1100, VMC 33 $850, Westinghouse Jr?? pricey at $650, Texaco signs $800 and $650. Some of the smaller signs seemed really high, but overall it was a fun day in a tiny Texas town.

Sounds like a great auction! Prices don't seem to bad that 72 looks clean!

All three machines were in great condition. There were a lot of really nice items. The auction was for the contents of an antique store. The coke machines were part of the owner's private collection.

I'd be all over the 72 for that price.
Auctions around me always seem to be crazy, esp. Price of Porcelain signs...
