Title: Anyone Know This Gumball Machine?
Post by: HowDueYouDue on November 30, 2014, 11:09:45 pm
Picked this up last weekend. I know it's a victor from right around the time of the war (story is they switched to wood to support the war effort) but can't seem to find much about them online; like actual model name. Appreciate any and all info. Thank you

Roger at www.crowriver.com may know, that is, if anyone here doesn't... never seen one personally and it's not in the book I have.

Sorry, never seen this model before. Has a look of being home made about it..

I was thinking the same. Somebody made a wood base for it, maybe as a replacement.

Thanks for the feedback. Will give roger a try. Don't think its homemade as I did find two others online but no real info. Plus Victor made a fair amount of wooden ones. The pic is one I found online will take a pic of mine when I send to roger.

Roger solved the mystery. It a Victor 2000 gumball machine. Uses most of the common parts like other Victor machines but if I crack the plastic globe chances are I won't find a replacement. :(
