I recently purchased a nice vintage Westinghouse coca cola vending machine.  it's in excellent working condition.  It runs quiet and smooth and gets ice cold.  The only thing it's missing is a small piece of corner chrome and the keys. I and wondering about some info on the machine like its year, model and what it's worth in as is condition.

I'm trying to post a picture but it's telling me file is too large.  Working on getting a picture.

Welcome! Does the machine have a ID tag on it that shows the model number? That would help until you can get a picture up. Westinghouse made a few models, they are mostly known for their chest type machines but did also make upright machines.

Yeah it has an ID tag on it.  I'm still trying to get some pictures uploaded.  But in the mean time the model on the Westinghouse ID tag reads V-96 if that helps.

Westinghouse 96. The most popular Westinghouse upright is the 42. The 96 is not very common but also not very collectible either. It's from the 50's for sure but has no real collector value as it is not a very practical machine. Very large for home use. Even if it is a very nice original, I would say somewhere for $300-$400.

It happens sometimes in this hobby sometimes, I'm afraid.  :down: At least your machine does cool, though. Not only was my first machine not worth much it didn't even vend, to say nothing of cooling.

But if YOU like it and use it and have fun with it, then it's a great machine for you!
