Title: advice on uship or other to get reasonable rates Post by: ld26 on October 21, 2014, 09:47:52 am hey guys,
have a buyer for one of my machines that is having trouble finding a reasonable shipping quote. He said he tried uship but got a 1300 quote from ny to arizona. I know it can be done cheaper and have heard instances on here of uship going farther distances a lot cheaper. Any advice that I can pass on to the buyer to get the price down to a more reasonable range? thinking 500 dollar range would work for him, Thanks Title: Re: advice on uship or other to get reasonable rates Post by: Slapshot42 on October 21, 2014, 09:50:01 am I used NAVL (STI) for a bid from NY-WA.
Full Service was $520 with tax Title: Re: advice on uship or other to get reasonable rates Post by: mygoose101 on October 21, 2014, 10:10:48 am Uship has some automated bids that are always sky high. If you wait it out, it will drop drastically. I ship a lot of machines. If it's local within surrounding states I always use uShip with great success. When I ship across the country I use STI. They seem to always charge 500 whether it's going across the street or across the country. Both are door to door service.

To save on shipping, drop off and pick up of machine can be done at the FedEx locations rather than having them pick up the machine..... almost every airport has one within a mile or 2 |
