I KNOW these are hard to come by, but if ANYONE out there has a working one that they've been hoarding or just don't need, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your reply. This is very interesting and you can't beat the price either. The two motors do look very similar. I think I would have a hard time adapting it though given my tools and experience with this sort of thing. The main problem I see right off is the shaft is squared on the Merkle and mine is round. If I knew how to adapt it to fit this would be a great deal. If anyone has done this, please chime in. I was able to get the motor slightly modified and was a perfect fit into the WC-60; now I have a functioning machine ! ! ! Best part was the budget, $25 ! ! ! Lesson: do a little homework on shaft size/diameter, rpm, etc, etc and it just may be the replacement motor you are looking for... This motor is almost a direct replacement for the Westy WC-60/78 vend motor! The modifications were minimal and the gear housing is the same so it bolts right in place!
