I have a cavalier c4-96G I am trying to find out when the machine was made. 5 81 [M]M YY Note that is a considerably later machine, so your ID tag may not have such a place on it. There may be a silver label on inside/back of the coin door. Those sometimes have the date stamped into them. Check for that label as well. Here's a page for Cavalier serial numbers, but I don't think it mentions punch buttons.
