Title: Cornelious Compact 50 condensation Post by: cpuryear on June 08, 2014, 10:14:56 pm I've got a compact 50 that runs pretty well. Bottles get nice and cold and the temp stays around 20-30 degrees inside the cooler.
The Only problem is I get quite a bit of condensation/humidity inside the freezer. A little water drips down below to the tray underneath but for the most part the inside of the cooler seems too "wet". Theres condensation around the door seals and standing water at the bottom. Evaporator fan runs great and the condenser does kick on/off. Its kept in an unconditioned garage but it stays relatively cool in there. Any thoughts? Should I even worry about this at all? I would adjust the thermostat to keep you machine about 35-40 degrees. As far as heavy condensation that is usually caused by air leaking in around the gaskets. Also you will have more of this during the more humid summer months.
