Wow, they both look great but that Victor looks great for parties!  It pops with that new chrome.

Looks fantastic. I am working on cleaning up a 4 door victor.  Since it was pretty close to complete when I got it and it is just for me to keep I am just cleaning it up (of course still a ton of work).    I have been trying to find casters for it and have been struggling.  It appears the holes for the leg levelers are 1/4 inch and everything I can find only goes as small as 3/8 inch.  I have checked with Grainger and Caster City, but no luck.   Did you have to do something custom to get yours on?   Thanks!!!

Looking good there Pat. Can't wait to see the Victor done. Are you putting a bar top on it? The 35 turned out great also.

Looking good Pat!
The Victor is mine..... and yes, there will be a counter top on the bottom and the very top.  I built a metal base for it and had it powder coated black, just to raise it a bit higher for that "bar" feel.
My intention is to have the tops stainless... but now after my wife has seen the pics, and really likes it a lot..... she wants a wood top counter.  So now I'm split as to what to do.  If it is stainless, well that's pretty straight forward.... with wood, she wants that "Hooters" table look (which I think is pine with a HEAVY laquer coating on it (and yes, she actually said Hooters as we go there from time to time..... what can I say? they have good uhhhhh WINGS! lol

My cousin is a cabinet maker, and I know of a stainless guy, so either way it should get done fairly quick.
What do you guys think would be better?

       Great lineup there Pat!

Ed, I would use wood for 2 reasons:
1: It is the closest to original.
2: IT WAS THE WIFES CHOICE, an opportunity to score points.  :happydrinkers:

Ed,

The Hooters countertop finish is a lot easier, quicker and cheaper than  you may think

http://eti-usa.com/envirotex-lite/

It's s two part epoxy  you can order through Amazon, or  it's carried by Micheal's Hobby Lobby, and prolly other hobby shops. Easy peasy, .

The web site has a calulator to  figure out how much you need,

Both coolers look great, Pat!

Ed--Happy wife, happy life!  If your wife wants the wood, I say give it to her!  8)

Either way, I am sure it will turn out great.  Looking forward to seeing the finished product whichever you choose.  But remember choose wisely!

LOL.... I actually laughed out loud with that one Tim... good one... I guess I set that one up pretty good lol.

I will check out that "hooters" epoxy there Kilroy!  Thanks for that!
I myself SS would look nicer, but I'm going with a more wood, country feel to the bar, and I think the stainless might look out of place in my basement that has hardwoon floors, brick walls and half walls, stone around the columns, and wood stairs....
ARGHHHH  the choices lol.....

Will post pics for sure once all done... first I gotta get it from Pat and bring it over the border!  lol
