Title: Gum or Candy wall machines Post by: davethebirdman on May 07, 2014, 03:50:31 am Hello Chaps.. In July Me Mrs B and the little ones are off to New York for a few days and I would love to bring something back with me. I don't think I'd be able to fit a soda machine in the overhead luggage, even a V23. So I'm on the look out for small wall vending machines. I know you guys do all the trawls so if you do happen to come across something like a Zeno Gum machine or a Canteen Machine or anything similar please let me know. Likewise if you have anything like this that you would like to "donate" please get in touch. I'm after wall machines rather than gumball machines (unless its a NW36). If anyone knows of some cool places for this sort of thing in NYC please let me know too. There is only so much of Macys a man can take. Thanks Dave Title: Re: Gum or Candy wall machines Post by: genudoc on May 07, 2014, 04:40:09 am Scarce to find in NYC

Have bought back all sorts in the past. Now that flights are booked I have my eye on eBay but nothing popping up. Just trying to spread the net a little further. Always time for Bermondsey on Friday and Portobello Road on Sat Perhaps I will find an old Cadbury candy machine like used to be in the Tube Title: Re: Gum or Candy wall machines Post by: davethebirdman on May 08, 2014, 06:57:38 am As it so happens I have a few Cadbury Machines. They could be bought for next to nothing a few years ago but like all things we collect the prices have rocketed. Managed to get hold of a prototype that was taken from the Cadbury factory in Bournville when its vending arm closed down. Twice the size of a normal machine. Its bene years since I have ventured near Bermondsey or Portobello Road. Have you been to Camden Lock ?? Years since I have been there too but more likely to find coin op there I would think.. |
