Title: Number 3 Post by: Fire708 on May 05, 2014, 10:47:37 pm Meet my newest family member! Had to borrow a fan motor from my 63 and give it a good cleaning. Compressor works but seems a bit noisy. Other that that it's all there and getting my soda cold! :laugh:
Title: Re: Number 3 Post by: tkaz on May 05, 2014, 11:26:32 pm Nice! You can't beat the USS machines when it comes to versatility. I've had pretty good luck with pulling the woodgrain off those models, a couple were nice white underneath, and one was just black primer.

From what I've read, the compressor is probably a Tecumseh, if it is the original. In any case, the compressors Cavalier used can be a bit noisy, but they are built to last.

Looks fairly straight forward. The ability to have bottles and cans is wonderful. Might have to look for another........
