Title: U-Select-It Machine... Post by: Jim on May 01, 2014, 07:28:56 am I really deviated from my normal restoration on this machine!
The machine is completely powder-coated in Sparkle Silver and Sparkle Blue When the machine is in the sun, it looks incredible ! ! ! I posted a somewhat close-up with the hope of showing the blue sparkle... Let me know what everyone thinks... Title: Re: U-Select-It Machine... Was that machine in need of any body work and if so , what did you do for that prior to powder... I use that silver sparkle on my 81's.. shelve,s tub, etc.. it's a great look! Title: Re: U-Select-It Machine... Post by: Jim on May 01, 2014, 06:51:57 pm Looks great Jim, Thanks John! Was that machine in need of any body work and if so , what did you do for that prior to powder... I use that silver sparkle on my 81's.. shelve,s tub, etc.. it's a great look! And no body work was required. There is a filler that contains a lot of aluminum that is supposed to handle oven temps, however, I have experimented and results will vary... Shane, Since this machine is a "Square Top", I wanted to do something to help the overall look... The bolt holes are always on top, so I figured... Well, you see where this ended up... Thanks everyone for the compliments! Title: Re: U-Select-It Machine... Post by: sc1101 on May 01, 2014, 08:09:35 pm Nothing better then the durability of powder-coat. Great job, looks awesome!

Let me take it off your hands Title: Re: U-Select-It Machine... Post by: csiwannabe on July 20, 2014, 10:18:22 pm Hi Jim! Love your U Select It machine! I see you are not too far from me here in FL. I have a U Select It machine which has had what I would call an amateur restoration job done on it. I have to pieces which were taken out and not put back in and the levers are jammed up. Is this something you could help me with? I have attached a picture of the machine. Thanks!
