Title: Dealing with quarters Post by: petey64 on February 16, 2005, 07:07:20 pm I have just assumed a Vendo-90 and i have cleaned out the slug rejector, coin changer and it is working somewhat, nickels and dimes-no problem but when I use quarters they either go right through or the machines acts as if it is a nickel that is the first problem. The second problem is I would like to change the price of the vend from 15 cents to a quarter.

Title: Dealing with quarters Post by: johnieG on February 20, 2005, 10:04:40 pm OK , Now we're getting somewhere, so to me it kinda looks like either early version of a 9800/conversion series, (S75-9800) or a 5-price 9800 series (FP 9800) is the slug-rejector metal, or Plastic? ( there may be a label on the side of the unit, or possibly the back) Also, you said the quarters drop right through the unit & sometimes they are counted as nickels, when the drop straight through the 'mech. do they drop into the coinbox, or the coin-return?
If you pull the slug rejector off the coinmech, are there any switches to be seen, or a little red drum/wheel under a plastic cover? Title: Dealing with quarters Post by: petey64 on February 20, 2005, 10:12:51 pm it's palstic and the quarters go right to the coin box and are counted as nickels i will take more pictures tomorrow and post them, Thank you
