Title: Vendo 63
Post by: Kevin C on February 16, 2005, 03:01:46 pm
Hello

I have my first agreement to sell one of my Vendo 63's.

I would like to get a new main (big) door handle. The one on the machine I sold does not close tightly because it looks like it was forced open in the past. Anyone have a handle or any ideas about where to get one?

Kevin

I do not have a handle but I have a question.

Being you have several 63's, have you ever removed the vending rack?

I would like to know if it comes out in one piece or in several.

I'd like to remove it in one piece.

Then the remaing cooling parts before taking it to be painted.

Usually the vending stuff comes out in 3 main groups.  The shelves, the brackets and the main vending mechanism (which does come out in one piece).

Hi jas,
After removing the shelves, take the cover off of the vending solenoid and disconnect those wires (the machine should be unplugged).  Then remove the five or six screws that run down the left face of the vending panel.  These are just to the left of the holes where you pull out the bottles.  As you remove the last screw hold the vending mechanism in place with firm pressure so that it doesn't fall out.  The rear of the mechanism is supported by two heavy duty pins attached to the back wall, so after you remove the last screw the vend mechanism can be pulled straight out as one assembly.  It weighs about 25 lbs. so beware of this as you pull it off the pins.  In other words, use both hands.:;):

Thanks for the info.

Just wanted to make sure it would come out in one piece.

I'll get it out and give it a good going over to see what needs attention.

I have some feelers out with friends and family about another 63 machine maybe they can come up with a couple leads. Be nice to have one for a parts macine.
