Title: paint removal Post by: cohammer on March 19, 2014, 07:06:59 pm Does anyone know a good way to remove the paint from my v-39 bottle door? I was afraid paint remover may be too strong for this plastic.
Title: Re: paint removal Post by: Slapshot42 on March 19, 2014, 09:26:35 pm I had to paint some plastic breaker strips for a cooler. I just used a scotch brite pad, than used a self etching primer to etch the surface,than a base coat paint rated for plastic surfaces...
Title: Re: paint removal Post by: SIGNGUY on March 21, 2014, 08:46:46 am just dial down the compressor on a cabinet blaster and lightly dust it.. paint comes off easily and just move your blast pattern constantly and you'll be fine

Title: Re: paint removal Post by: krovel on June 11, 2014, 05:17:54 pm Just a newbie myself but if you are wanting to sandblast plastic you may want to use walnut shells or something a bit more gentle than sand.
