Title: Ideal sheet metal Post by: mack65az on March 08, 2014, 04:28:52 pm Just putting some feelers out here...
Looking at doing a run of parts for ideal 55's. Would anyone need or know anyone that would want tub liners, shelves, lower pan, drain pans, complete stainless belt buckle plate (not just cover)? Are there other sheet metal parts out there that are in demand and hard to find? I'd stick with Ideal for the most part, but if there is a void out there, I have the connections to get new sheet metal. Not looking to mass produce these, but sometimes making ten is almost as easy as making one once it's set up. I made the false floor there was no demand what so ever. Not very fun machine to have to pull the liner to get the flooring due to the design of the compressor and how it has to come out!

but you guys will have to show us how to remove the old one. :darn: Title: Re: Ideal sheet metal Post by: kbareit on March 08, 2014, 08:51:17 pm I tried removing a couple from generics that were stripped down for usable parts and needless to say I didn't succeed in removing them in one useable piece. :veryangry:

I didn't know Bob's belt buckle was such a menace as to warrant a guard! :tounge: Title: Re: Ideal sheet metal Post by: mack65az on March 09, 2014, 09:59:01 am Okay, As I dig a little deeper, I'll update.
