Already been talkingto the owner, picking up Saturday.. needs some body work as it's dented on top. Doesn'te cool, and missing a few parts.

Am I missing something guys?  I don't see a Vendo 44, it's clearly stated to be a VMC 44 which is usually worth half.
Now, if it's not cooling and missing parts I would be very cautious about exceeding it's parts value.

So sorry to be  negative on this, but I listed a restored VMC 44 on E-bay last year.....sold it to  best offer, $2000.00

Agree with MoonDawg on the price.  Make sure you get good photos of the interior before you consider it for that price.  Ask for close-up photos of the outside sides above the vents and the back above the opening, looking for belt-line rust in those areas.  Tough to tell from the photos but there is something suspect in that area.

What parts are missing?

with the handle in that position, could the coin mech be missing for starters?

I agree. When I gave the Machine my thumbs up I assumed it was 100% complete and working. Now knowing that it's not. I would shy away unless you can buy it somewhere in the teens.

I agree, definitely over priced, I would have a hard time paying $2400 for a Vendo 44, much less a VMC 44, although it has a nice change giving coin mech ! Moondog is right, I would hold off and keep my eyes open, the VMC 44's come up all the time for fair prices,  yes even on E-bay lol I would definitely pass on it, but again, if you love it and feel comfortable with the negotiated price, then why not ! Just think you could do allot better !

I agree. I like paying 800.00 for VMC 44.

Sold my Vendo 44 last October for $1400 and barely got that for it. Was complete, running machine, very straight, rechromed bezel and zero rust but needed restored. Guy from Minnesota bought it and said he was taking it to Barrett Jackson to sell after restoration. There was one there that sold but don't know if it was mine.
