Star Manufacturing used Advanced Manufacturing as their name during the 1930s. This particular model is the "Profit" model. Here is an image from their 1939 catalog:

Basically, it was popcorn that was cooked using the wet method, which meant it was cooked in "seasoning" (oil) and salt.
