Title: Re: U select it Post by: mygoose101 on January 12, 2014, 10:44:12 pm Nice. Soon they are going to start using those colors again on cars, at least they should. I guess car manufactures are still too busy trying to figure out how to add even or small round lights around the headlights.
Title: Re: U select it Post by: tkaz on January 12, 2014, 11:10:17 pm Tropical Turquoise? It was between that and the Sea Mist green for my old fridge. That came out great, might have to find another fridge for that color!
Title: Re: U select it Post by: georgescustompaint on January 13, 2014, 10:21:01 am Great Colour.
The 2 parts u are asking about go on the backside of the door. They are backing clips for the coin slot. They help direct the coin into the mech. Looking forward to seeing it all back together ! Shane. Title: Re: U select it Post by: zadd on January 13, 2014, 02:41:29 pm Ah ... Duh . Thanks for the refresher . :happydrinkers:
Title: Re: U select it Post by: coke_and_stuff on January 13, 2014, 06:49:57 pm Did you paint that all by yourself? It looks great!
Title: Re: U select it Post by: zadd on January 13, 2014, 09:45:37 pm Yep . Not bad for rookie .
Title: Re: U select it Post by: coke_and_stuff on January 13, 2014, 10:21:13 pm Sweet keep us posted with it as it progresses. I don't know about you but I feel a lot of pride into tearing something down and bringing it back from the dead. Glad to see another painter on here.
Title: Re: U select it Post by: zadd on January 27, 2014, 11:57:50 am Ok just about done but I can't figure out how or where this spring or spacer goes . I guess U didn't take enuff photos when I tore it down .
Title: Re: U select it Post by: jbrumett on January 27, 2014, 01:06:07 pm I just tore mine down last week.....
It goes under the bottom plate that the vending rack sits on. It actually sits over the hole (inside the cabinet) that connects the cabinet to the base. Hope this helps..... better yet I hope I am right since this is a first time for me Best Regards, Jeff Title: Re: U select it Post by: zadd on January 27, 2014, 01:27:51 pm Ok so it has nothing to do with the vending handle then ? It just set between the body and vending rack .
Title: Re: U select it Post by: SIGNGUY on January 27, 2014, 02:28:28 pm Yes, it is just there so when you cinch down the bolt it doesn't pull pull down on the body shell and bend it all out of wack.
Title: Re: U select it Post by: zadd on January 27, 2014, 03:14:12 pm Got it . It must have just been laying inside the machine when I got it . I had to fix the rack base and the body and stand because the bolt stretched all that metal around the bolt .
Thanks guys ! Title: Re: U select it Post by: jbrumett on January 27, 2014, 03:17:29 pm That makes sense John. I can see where someone like me would keep tightening it up until it was too late
Zadd: Correct. The vending handle itself is just one piece that fits back into the vending rack itself. As always keep us posted on the progress Jeff Title: Re: U select it Post by: Jim on January 27, 2014, 05:22:57 pm Hmmm...
I'm getting all the parts together for zinc plating and I do not remember this part... I checked a manual for the later model 74B/94B and couldn't find something that resembled this part... Oh well... |
