Title: Need a Vendo 44 painted in TX

Need it blasted, body work and painted bare cabinet and door only.  I will be doing the rest.  Can anybody recommend a good bodyman/painter in Tx???

you'r best bet  is find a local Hot rod club. They  usually have the best leads of paint guys.  Better than going through a phone book.

I agree with Jim (Kilroy) - ask around at a local car show.  Most 'car guys' seem pretty cool about sharing their experience, occasionally you'll have reps from some of the local paint shops attend larger shows.   Bring some digital pics with you, might help if you happen to meet up with someone.

I talked to a couple hot rod people about it, but all think it is too small of a job I guess.  I will keep trying.

Have you contacted Eric at Global Compressors. He is in New Braunsfels south of Austin.
I believe he could do it for you or refer you to someone.
