Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: zadd on December 16, 2013, 08:39:28 am Thanks . Do I need the wood wall mount as well ?
Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: tkaz on December 16, 2013, 08:52:14 am I believe it's one or the other, the wood one you screw the changer into, making it more permanent. The brackets allow you to lift it off if desired
Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: collecture on December 16, 2013, 09:07:58 am You just need the brackets. The mounting holes are not a 16" apart though, so I made sure one screw went into a stud and used a molly bolt on the other.
Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: MaineT on December 16, 2013, 09:13:09 am If you have the space, I think the stand adds a ton to the cool factor of that. I don't have a changer, but a buddy does and mounted to the wall it wouldn't pop like the stand. I think someone was repro'ing them on eBay.
Ok, space and the money, I'm sure its not cheap. Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: zadd on December 16, 2013, 09:58:46 am Thanks guys . Didn't want to buy what I don't need . Thanks for clearing it up .
Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: zadd on December 18, 2013, 10:45:13 pm If anyone wants to mount one to the wall you will need both . I got the brackets today and there to shallow to mount directly to the wall . You will need to buy the board as well .
Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: collecture on December 19, 2013, 12:13:42 am Hmmm....Mine are bolted right to the wall. I would have thought aftermarkets were identical!
I'd just put a spacer behind the bracket then. What else would the board do? Sorry to misinform you Vince! Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: Jim on December 19, 2013, 07:39:12 am I noticed the same issue with my reproduction pole mounting plates...
I add flat washers behind the horizontal brackets so the coin changer slides down on the slotted bracket better/easier. You may have to play with the shim distance a little... Title: Re: Vendo coin changer Post by: zadd on December 19, 2013, 08:30:31 am Spacers would work as well (I didn't think of that ) . Thanks collecture
