Title: Not as good a weekend as others.... Post by: jbrooks on December 02, 2013, 04:52:04 pm LOL, I did not find 3 beautiful machines but I love my signs. This one needs a good ironing to get out the wrinkles but I couldn't pass it up due to its age. Do you guys think 1940's?

Post by: aspbear on December 02, 2013, 06:10:10 pm Cut a couple of pieces of plywood 3/8 inch a little larger than the sign screw them together with the sign in between the plywood piecie's lay it on the driveway and drive back and forth over the plywood. You will be surprised at how much it will straighen the sign.

Post by: aspbear on December 02, 2013, 08:53:15 pm Almost forgot, but important place a cloth over the paint side before the plywood to protect the paint. I have done this a few times on painted signs with good results. DO NOT TRY THIS ON A PORCELAIN SIGN GLASS WILL CRACK....
