One of my employees flew in on Saturday for the Bears-Ravens game yesterday. What a mess. His flight was cancelled last night, and now he has to take 2 connecting flights and fly into a different airport to get home today. Then he has to be taken by bus to his originating airport so he can collect his car. So his original 2.5 hour flight yesterday evening is now 11+ hours of travelling today. Post by: sc1101 on November 18, 2013, 11:58:03 am The weather sucked there yesterday. I was at the gas station when there was an announcement outside to seek shelter immediately. Fortunately there was no tornado but it sure looked like there could be one any second. I had a flight at 1:40 and it was delayed and I ended up leaving at 6:00. I was shocked we even flew out at all. I must admit I was kinda hoping to see a tornado. In the distance of course. :biggrin: I was able to get some good pictures though.

Just to be safe, the whole family went into the basement and climbed into our Vendo ice cream machine. We were held for about thirty minutes on the runway, then the pilot announced "we are going to go ahead and give it a try" I will never forget those words. My reaction was "WTF"
