It's just a repo of a classic machine. Like was said above, use the money towards another machine.... even a real 44 as they come up often. In the long run you will be better off, and happy that you have a real machine rather than one with parts made in China. Some prize, huh? I entered the sweepstakes, but I didn't have a clue how they were made. Didn't win, surprise, surprise.
What really bugs me about it - I thought I read somewhere the new retail value of one of these things was like $4750 or something. I would think you could do at least that well on a bona-fide, decent shape, working Vendo 44, if not better. Does the inside even properly replicate the vending structure of a real 44? It was a great adea, just so poorly built. And yes, retail was about $5k when they first came out.
