Title: Jackpot!
Post by: Blind1968 on October 06, 2013, 11:36:09 am
I think I found a new source for bottled soda in Springfield Mo. Hy-Vee is the name of the store. They also have the 8oz coke and Dr Pepper. I didn't know frosty was still being made.

I picked up an assortment of glass-bottles earlier this year when I was in Michigan picking up my slider.    One of the bottles I grabbed was a Frosty.  Actually drank it last night.  Not bad, a little bit too sweet for my taste.

While on vacation this summer I found 8 oz Dr. Pepper in glass bottles at a Wal Mart in Branson, MO, just 30 min south of Springfield.  And, they were ON SALE for only $3.97 a six pack.  I bought all they had left.

"Cracker Barrel" restaurant also has many different 12oz bottles for sale.  Nesbitts, Double cola, Nugrape, Bubble up, Dr. enuf, Moxie
I can still get 6 packs of 8 oz bottles.  Coke, Sprite from local "Pick n save" super markets.
Also "World market" stores have vintage bottle soda for sale.

Well about two weeks now. Just moved from Clarksville TN. Springfield (Ozark) was where I grew up as a kid.

I think that's what the Dr Pepper goes for around here. The Specialty brands are much more expensive.
