Would there be any demand for custom graphic lighted displays ? These would consist of brand names other than Coke and any other graphics someone may want for a custom machine display such as favorite Football team, hobby such as Hotrods or any type you can possibly think of ? Just a thought that crossed my mind and wondering if there would be any kind of demand for such.

Such was the demise of beermachines.com    copyright issues abound.

If you wanted to go beyond a personal dream machine or maybe a one-off for a friend, you'd have to have all your licensing ducks in a row. Trademark law is a bear.

BTW: I am NOT a fan of the University of Alabama. I don't care much for college sports in general, and junk like this is partly why.

By the way,,anyone have lead on Dr. Pepper in glass ? Just called them and they say only .06% of biz with this product and show no one within a 100 miles of three different zip codes.

You must be pretty serious about it if you've checked into licensing.

There is precedent for this sort of thing. I've even thought about it myself a little (I can't make parts, but I do draw graphics. Whether I can draw is up for debate.)

I'm guessing you want to do this for profit. Whether there's enough interest to recoup overhead and make money, I don't know.

We have a local grocery store that sells Dr Perpper in the 8oz Glass bottles. I am in upstae SC.  West Jefferson Dr. Pepper in NC sell the cane sugar 12oz glass bottles.

It will be a while before I can start working on my fantasy machine. but it is on the list, and narrowed down to only a few flavors

Just so there's no misunderstanding, I didn't restore that machine or provide graphics. I just posted it to show that it has been done.

It is a nice machine, though.

        I'm no laywer either but trademark infringement refers to someone making money off the brand name.

        If you are a graphic artist and have access to the right equipment you can make anything you want for yourself.

        And maybe just a few for friends?  I mean you do have a whole lotta' friends on this site!  :happydrinkers:

Rebel, I could do that for you.  Just not sure what it would cost to ship them.  I have access to the 8oz locally.  The 12 oz only when I get them from West Jefferson NC (about 3 hours away) I have an employee that is from that area so whenever she goes home to visit I get her to bring me a couple cases of the 12oz. They sell them right at the bpttling plant.

8oz glass is what 'm looking for and do appreciate the help. I'll get back with you as there is no rush at all on this. Thanks again very much.

I saw Dr. Pepper in glass at a Wi-Not Stop in Catharpin, VA last weekend.

Just saw the 8oz glass in my local Harris Teeter in Charlotte, NC today

Man,,,wish they'd get um down this way but no way. May get back with y'all and get a couple of 6 pks.
