Title: Unknown Kelvinator Chest Cooler
Post by: tkaz on September 09, 2013, 07:37:58 pm
Came across this one on ebay, sure looks like the Kelvinator logo, but I wasn't able to ID the machine otherwise.  Seems like it's close to Westy standard size.

Jerry has some nice signs!  Nice way to generate interest in some items without posting an EBay listing!  Never seen a Kelvinator like that one. Although I would love to find a Kelvinator Rolltop.

I really want that train they have strapped to that old cart in one of the pictures. Thing is actually steam powered (and way out of my price range) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Live-Steam-Locomotive-hand-built-1947-train-engine-gauge-scale-ad-/151113700213?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item232f141375

That's an English made cooler, made in Crewe in the 40's. I've got one that I need to restore.
