Title: Herring Hall Marvin Safe Post by: tkaz on September 04, 2013, 09:54:28 pm Anybody out there know about older safes? I picked up a load of glass insulators locally last week and the guy has a Herring Hall Marvin safe, about a 1.5' cube, that's in pretty good shape. Lock works and he opened it up, there's a lockbox inside with a couple of shelves. He was looking for about $170 for it, but offered a trade for a couple of my lamps. I don't have any photos, but was curious if anyone out there had some personal experience with these.

you go to Chicago show and those small ones are 500+ unrestored and restored Thousands... I'd love to have one too, think they are cool .. your good at 170 ! Title: Re: Herring Hall Marvin Safe Post by: flippa on September 05, 2013, 09:01:13 pm That is a great price at $170. It is even better if you can trade your lamps for it.

Score any aqua marine or purple insulators? Like those. Hope the trade works out. Creighton |
